Taking a Leap of Faith

I finally did it!

For those that don’t know me as well I will admit I am a bit of a perfectionist and I definitely have always cared a little (ok more than a little) what people think of me. I am also a very private person who doesn’t really share a lot.

But I finally put all those aside and took the leap of faith by creating my own personal website as well as creating a Facebook page…all of which are officially live and have been for almost 2 weeks! EEK!

I recognized that if I didn’t take this leap it would be one of those regrets and I don’t want to regret decisions I make or risks I didn’t take.

This will be an adventure, one on which I will continue to learn and grow. I’m sure I’ll stumble some but I also want to share that with others so they know its ok to stumble and trip, but that you can always get back up and dust yourself off and learn from it.

A couple things I want to point out about taking big jumps that aren’t comfortable but are necessary:

~ They are the only way to move forward and out of fear is to just start putting yourself out there. Whether it’s perfect or not! Trust me this has been hard as I mentioned!

~ It teaches you that there are always people rooting for you, people looking for knowledge, people supporting you, people who may be on a similar life path that are going through but feel alone so it’s worth sharing.

~ Because Why not?? Because if not now than when? There is no time like the present to push yourself to do something that may not be as comfortable but it will push you to grow and you’ll likely look back and be thankful you did! (whatever it may be that is outside your comfort zone)

I wanted to keep this short and sweet and just say “Take that leap of faith! Push yourself outside that comfort zone! It is one of the most exhilarating feelings out there!

I want to leave some questions for you to ask yourself, so here they are:

~ Will I be upset with myself if I don’t take this leap of faith?

~ Will this be one of my regrets?

~ What is the worst-case scenario?

~ What can I learn or will I help someone else in the process?

All food for thought! If you know someone else who may benefit or enjoy this blog post or any future blog posts please pass it along!
