Just like that August has arrived! We started the month off with the powerful conjunction of Mars, Rahu and Uranus at 24 Aries. Many of you have had the heads up of this conjunction over the past few months and it is now upon us. We have seen throughout the month of July riots, shootings, fires and extreme heatwaves. This was all as Mars and Rahu were approaching Uranus. Remember that events can happen before and after exact conjunction. I believe the effects of this conjunction will reverberate throughout the world. Saturn has officially retrograded back into Capricorn for its final transit through January 17, 2023. Jupiter is three days into its retrograde journey. It will be retrograde until November 23, 2022. Retrogrades are a period for patience and reflection. The houses that retrograde Jupiter and Saturn in your chart will be the areas where you could see delays and setbacks. These houses are also the areas where the universe is asking you to reflect, review and reassess. Mars will be moving into Taurus on August 10th which will bring a different energy from being in its own sign of Aries the last six weeks. Mercury will be transiting in Leo July 31 through August 20. On the afternoon of August 20th Mercury will transit into Virgo. This will be a long stay of Mercury in its own sign, and it’s sign of exaltation, Virgo, as it will retrograde the beginning of September here. Mercury in Virgo will be a time when we see stronger Mercury qualities on display in terms of communication and travel (at least when it is in forward motion). Venus has been transiting in Gemini and will move into Cancer late in the day on August 6. Venus will stay in Cancer until August 31st. This can be a time when individuals are emotionally open which could make individuals more emotional during this time. The Sun is wrapping up its transit of Cancer on August 16 when it will move into its own sign of Leo. The Sun will be in Leo until September 16. This could be a time where people are more impatient and bossier. We may see people digging in their heels more.

You may find your sleep more disturbed or dreams that are more unexpected. Be open to unexpected guidance that you may receive. Until August 10th you could be more tense and worried but this will pass. You will find yourself spending time learning through reading and studies.
Gemini – After August 6th financial matters will begin to feel more positive. You may find yourself drawn to buying items that add a pop of color or bring a new aesthetic and look. This can be a good month to have any dental work done that you have been putting off. The August 1st conjunction is happening in your 11th house. This can bring unexpected situations with friends or opportunities for new connections. If you find tension with your friends high, I would recommend waiting until after August 10th to have a conversation. This can be a great month to learn something new as it will come more easily to you.
Cancer – You are glowing this month, attracting people with the positive energy you are radiating. This can be a great month to get out and enjoy concerts, museums, movies or the theatre. The August 1st conjunction is happening in your tenth house of career. This could bring unexpected surprises in your career. It could feel like there is more tension in your career but by the middle of the month this will begin to calm down. This is not the month to go crazy with your spending but more a month to check in on your financials. Check in and readjust as necessary.
Leo – This month you will find yourself reminiscing about past relationships that brought you happiness. You will find you are content with how your life is going and have a greater ability to manifest what you desire. You will find yourself sleeping better this month. Your ability to communicate with others is strong this month. The August 1st conjunction is happening in your ninth house. There could be an unexpected trip that you need to take. Be sure to check in on your father this month as it could impact him.
Virgo – This month friendships will bring a deep connection. You can find that recent career success brings with it financial gains. This will be a social month with many events and gatherings. Enjoy them! This can be a great month to begin the healing process from past painful events. The August 1st conjunction is taking place in your eighth house. This is a time to be alert and use caution. It could bring an unexpected transformation to your life. This is a perfect time to do a true health cleanse to get your body and health back on track.
Libra – Business ideas will need to come from a fresh perspective. Remember to remain positive and look at the bright side this month. Remain open to new ideas from friends and powerful contacts as they can be beneficial. Optimism can bring new gains. This could bring unexpected tension with co-workers or employees. Don’t pick fights at work. If you are feeling under the weather be sure to get it checked out. Be cautious while driving and going about your day-to-day activities to avoid accidents.
Sagittarius – Passion can be higher this month with your partner but be sure you don’t set your expectations so high that they fall short and you are disappointed. Money may come in an unexpected way, stay open, watchful and receptive. This is a time to remain open minded, actively listen and stay in the present as new opportunities can appear. The August 1st conjunction is in your fifth house. This is a time to keep an eye on your kids as they can be more accident prone with Mars involved. There could be something expected in your portfolio.
Capricorn – This can be a great month to put yourself more in the spotlight at work and to work to get more attention from your boss. It will be more positively received during this time. You will have a desire to dig deeper and research not taking anything you hear at face value. Be open to ideas and actively listen to conversations with others as you can gain valuable insight you wouldn’t otherwise receive. The August 1st conjunction is happening in your fourth house of the home so use caution with electrical outlets and devices. There could also be some unexpected tension at home but this too shall pass.
Aquarius – This is a month where you could find yourself with a project at work that will require you to be creative or approach it from a different perspective. It may not hurt to get others input to help you see what you can’t see, especially the younger generation. You and your partner will find yourself discussing future plans and coming to agreements about the vision you both see. The August 1st conjunction is happening in your third house of communication so please expect the unexpected and take time to think before you speak. Pisces – You could find yourself looking for a creative outlet this month. Whether it is writing, music, a paint and sip class or anything else that tickles your fancy. At work you could find yourself communicating more with others and acting more as a messenger. The August 1st conjunction is happening in your second house of income you make. This could bring unexpected surprises or changes. It could also make you more impulsive with your spending so just don’t make any rash decisions. I would recommend waiting until after August 10th. Give yourself time and sleep on them.
