Alec Baldwin a name that many know. He is making headlines for discharging a prop firearm which led to the death of one and injury of another. He is an actor, writer, comedian, producer and activist. Alec was born on April 3, 1958 in Amityville, New York. His time of birth is unknown so we will be using the Moon as his ascendant. He is married to Hilaria Baldwin and has seven children in total.
When I looked at his chart on the day of the event I was blown away! While I would normally start by looking at his chart and what it promises I want to start with the event that is making headlines.
On October 21, 2021 Alec discharged a prop firearm that killed one person and injured another. On the day of the event the planet that truly packed a punch was transiting Uranus in Aries at 19 degrees. Transiting Uranus was exactly square Alec’s natal Mars which is at 19 degrees Capricorn. Uranus is unexpected events and Mars can be accidents. Now this in and of itself is a powerful transit but it was made even more intense by a couple other aspects. In his natal chart Alec has his natal Uranus, in Cancer, opposite his natal Mars. On the day of the incident transiting Mars was just entering Libra. Transiting Uranus and Mars and Alec’s natal Uranus and Mars created what is known as a Grand Cross. The Grand Cross can indicate tension and conflict on the negative side. At this time, he is in his Saturn maha dasha and Rahu bhukti. This was also a partial trigger as his natal Rahu is in Libra. The big trigger in this event was likely the Moon which was in Aries at the time of incident. The Moon and transiting Uranus were conjunct his natal Ketu which likely triggered the unforeseen event in his eighth house of transformation. While it is an absolutely tragic event, I do think based on his chart that it was an unexpected accident. I believe that Alec will find a way to create change for the better out of this tragedy.
