We are one month into 2021 and we are still in for an eventful year. Mercury turned retrograde on January 30 at 2 degrees of Aquarius and will be retrograde until February 19. This is a time when communication can break down and we can see communication and travel delays and setbacks. This month we have a stellium of planets in Capricorn, whatever house this is for you will be a major focus this month. The heaviest days, with the most influence of Capricorn and planets transiting it, are February 9 – 11 when we will have not only Jupiter, Saturn, Venus and Mercury but also the Sun and Moon in Capricorn. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn and is connected to hard work, corporations, infrastructure and can be very practical. Capricorn can be more stubborn in nature and not as flexible. We will be in a Kala Sarpa yoga until April, this is a period of extremes. The highs are high but the lows are low, giving a sense of fated destiny. The only slight break we will get is when the Moon breaks the cycle for two weeks at a time. For February the first half of the month will be more extreme then the latter half.
January had some tough aspects and February still has some of the same aspects just not to the exact degrees. This may have left you feeling stressed or so wired you didn’t know how to calm the emotions down. Mars will leave Aries on February 22. This will ease up some of the energy so it is not as intense. We are in a time that could be positive for initiating important changes and realigning our life to the path we want it to take. It could also be a time that could include mass confusion, shocking events, and more stress in our individual lives. We are in a time of releasing old ideas, dreams and ways of being in order to move forward. What in your life is it time to let go of? Aries – Meetings and conferences are key to open new lines of communication for your career. While developing plans be sure to take notes because the ideas expressed will later become a reality. Be adaptable and open to suggestions, especially those from the younger generation who have a new, fresh perspective on things. Ensure you maintain open lines of communication to make the most of your meetings.
Taurus – Learning new information will open up a broader view and bring insights that will change your life. Listen to those around you as they have an important message to share. Ask yourself what can I learn from this person. Open mindedness is the key to expand and open you up to new opportunities and possibilities. Be willing to go with the flow of new thoughts and ideas and see where they guide you.
Gemini – Embrace the power of research this month. The planets are in your favor to dig deep and get at the information you desire. Be open to ideas from and conversations with others for this can reveal information that will open your eyes and expand your mind. You can find yourself receiving money from others unexpectedly… be open and receptive. There can be disappointments in love or relationships this month.
Cancer – Powers of attraction are strong this month. It can be a good month to show what you are made of at work in the hopes of getting more recognition or advancement from your boss. Communications and agreements for future plans with your partner will be made. Take the time to find the humor in life. Laughing heals the soul and mind. Don’t forget to include others in your plans as they will reciprocate with other plans.
Leo – There is a need to communicate with others this month. Ensure you are being clear and not keeping important information to yourself. At work this month you have the support of those around you, getting the cooperation you need to move through projects. It is important to ensure you are eating healthy and getting the exercise and fresh air your body craves. Avoid sugar and sweeter foods this month.
Virgo – Take the time to capture your ideas. Now is a great month to begin writing, and you can find yourself producing an article or book. Your mind is active and full of ideas and needs the outlet of creating and expressing. There can be a desire to break away from reality, looking for an escape. Watch a movie, listen to music, dance around your house, the options are endless. You can find yourself beginning a new relationship as it’s a good month to attract love.
Libra – More time is spent at home where you will spend time reading, writing and studying. You may get an urge to redecorate, remodel or renovate your home. It can be as simple as painting a room to add color or create a new look. Spending quality time with your family can bring a sense of completeness. Talk, play games, dance around the kitchen, laugh, whatever you do enjoy the time spent reconnecting.
Scorpio – Make your “to do” or “to accomplish” list clear as it will add value and allow for you to be productive over the following month. Good news will come your way…be open. Use your voice to inspire others, to spread cheer and positivity. It can even be in writing that you use positive energy to do good. Decorating or beautifying your home can bring a much-needed boost.
