Let me start this piece off by saying that I am only looking at the stars and sharing what they show me. I have also written a piece on Joe Biden. Read it here. I take a completely objective look. I am not taking sides.
Donald Trump was born on June 14, 1946 at 10:54am in Queens, New York. He was born and raised in Queens and attended Fordham University before switching to the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania earning a degree in economics. He was elected the 45th President of the United States of America on November 8, 2016.
What does his chart show us? What was happening at the key dates in his life? From bankruptcy to Presidency? Let’s take a look.
Trumps first house is in Leo. In his first house he has the planet Mars. This can give him a drive, ambition and competitive edge. Mars makes him someone that can never sit still and make him very impulsive, always moving fast. This can make him more reckless in his approach where he just acts and thinks about it after the fact. This can make him very independent as well as making him more combative, offensive and aggressive. For a while his hair was always in the news and Mars here can give him more of a wave or curls in his hair. He can appear egotistical and domineering to others and can provoke others to anger. The ruler of is first house is the Sun which goes to his tenth house of career. He will always put his primary focus on his career. It is who he is. He throws himself into his work. He has this driving force to climb to the top of his chosen field. He prefers working for himself and is someone that needs to be the boss as he will not work well under others.
In his second house, Virgo, he has the planet Jupiter. With this placement he has a powerful voice and this is what will dictate the opportunities he receives in this life. He may have experienced more chaos in his childhood. This placement makes him a businessman. He can be very prosperous, with money and wealth coming easy for him. This is made even stronger as the ruler of the second house of money is in the eleventh house of great gains. This makes a powerful connection between the two money houses in his chart. He always seems to have some chance to make money. He can get advantages from well-placed people. He can be very enterprising, someone who is also always learning. He can have a tendency to not consider a backup plan. There can also be times when he is out of touch with the practical reality of things.
In his fourth house, Scorpio, he has the Moon and the node of the Moon Ketu. This shows us that he was born during a solar eclipse as in opposition to this he has the Sun and the node of the Moon, Rahu. The Moon in his fourth house may have brought many changes and disruptions in his family in his early life. He can have frequent changes in residences. He enjoys having good clothing, homes and transportation. He can be very responsive to others. But there can be emotional ups and downs. The Moon being in Scorpio does make it weak, as it is debilitated here. With this said, he can be prone to quick action and have a fixed purpose in mind. He will face adversity alone. He is not cautious when criticizing others and may not express himself as clearly. He can be accused in legal actions at different times in his life. He can also have issues with marriage. With Ketu in his fourth house he can be on a constant search for a sense of security that comes through home and family. He is able to adjust to changes in his life. He has a quick mind and takes fast action. He can get support from surprising sources but can also lose the support of others. He is someone that can act nice and then strike. The ruler of this house, Mars, goes to his first house. This gives him a good sense of confidence and can bring many successes throughout his life. His efforts will be rewarded through constant learning. Mars as the indicator of real estate and the ruler of the fourth house of real estate in his first house shows us that he can very successful in real estate. He wants to have his family around him as he has a love of his family.
He has no planets in houses five, six, seven, eight or nine. He has what is called a Kala Sarpa yoga. This is when all the planets are one side of the two nodes of the Moon, Rahu and Ketu. This can give him a life of extremes where the lows are low but the highs are high and with each low the next high is even higher than the last one. It gives a life that is more a fated destiny where the Universe guides him down the paths it wants him to go down.
In his tenth house, Taurus, he has the Sun and the node of the Moon, Rahu. Sun in the tenth is a very strong placement and gives a sense of power as well as good career opportunities. He will be the boos, CEO and own his own business. He has a strong self-esteem and confidence in himself and his ability. He can have authority in business and government. He is a hard worker and well informed but he can be very impatient. He does have the capacity to handle people well as well as the capacity to weigh his words before speaking. He stays very fixed in his purpose once he decides on it. He has the potential to lose because he doesn’t know when to quit. Rahu in the tenth gives a drive and power that can bring success very quickly but there can be consequences along the way. He has a deep-seated insecurity to prove himself – he likely grew up with the message that without money and hard work you are nothing. His father could have had addictions to alcohol and could have been more difficult towards his mother. He can have success in foreign undertakings as Rahu rules the foreign and foreigners. He enjoys taking on a challenge and doing things in an unconventional manner. The ruler of his tenth house is Venus and it is in his twelfth house. This can make him someone that doesn’t sleep much as he stresses and worries about work.
In his eleventh house, Gemini, he has Mercury. Mercury as the ruler of Gemini is very happy in this placement. He can be a good speaker and have good communication skills. He can be very clever, tactical receptive and a good debater. He is quick witted and a quick learner. He enjoys traveling and can have good earning ability but can be very restless. He has the ability to capitalize on opportunities in the field of communication. He cultivates contacts with influential and intellectual people. This can make him a good businessman who is smart at managing his cash flow. He can be politically astute but needs to be cautious not to listen to wrong advice. The ruler of the eleventh being in the eleventh can indicate that while friends can be an important part of his life, they can also prove to be disappointing. He can have influential friends who offer support but it may be to help or further themselves. Financial transactions will be gainful for him. He has an abundant life with many blessings and comforts as well as many opportunities in life.
In his twelfth house, Cancer, he has Saturn and Venus. Venus is the only planet that does well in the twelfth house. He can have disappointments in love. He can be prone to being overly emotional at times with changeable feelings. With Venus as the planet of love in the twelfth house can represent a marriage to someone from another country. This is seconded by the ruler of the seventh house of relationships being in this house as well. Saturn in the twelfth can give a fear of being alone. His sleep may be more disturbed or shallow. He will spend time in his life visiting foreign places. He needs to remember to take care of his health and may end up with lawsuits or personal attacks from others. He can be very steady in his approach and is focused on his own efforts. He can work for the public. He can be closed to suggestions from others and will not always go as deep in self-examining his actions. Ruler of the third house, Venus, being in the twelfth house makes travel to foreign countries an essential for him. Siblings may be separated early in life. His efforts can be very successful in foreign countries. Ruler of the seventh as mentioned above is Saturn and can also represent partnerships with foreigners as well as divorce and separations.
In Jaimini Astrology he has a couple powerful yogas. One of which is the Moon and Venus being in a Jaimini aspect to each other. This can also indicate wealth.
Let’s take a look at how transits have triggered the Presidency and potential impacts of the transits at the upcoming 2020 election.
On November 8, 2016 Trump was elected as President of the United States. At this time, he was just closing out his Rahu Dasha and Mars sub-dasha. What this shows is that all the energy was between his first and tenth houses. The tenth house is the career and Rahu is very expansive. Transiting Rahu was in his first house activating the Mars energy and making Trump larger than life. Transiting Mars was exalted in his sixth house of work and was sending its energy to his natal Mars, making it even more powerful. Transiting Jupiter the granter of opportunities was sending its energy to his tenth house of career. Transiting Saturn was sending its energy by opposition to his tenth house of career as well. When both Saturn and Jupiter send their energy to a house it becomes a powerful point of manifestation. Where Rahu was in his first house this put Ketu in his seventh house of the opponent. This was another indicator that he would win this election.
On election day 2020, November 3. The transits will be as follows. Transiting Jupiter will be in Sagittarius sending its energy to his eleventh house of great gains. It will also be sending its energy to his first house which could grant him opportunities. Transiting Saturn will be in his sixth house, Capricorn, sending its energy to his natal Saturn by opposition. The nodes Rahu and Ketu will be creating a nodal return. This can be a period of big change and transformation. Rahu will be within one degree of his natal Rahu in Taurus and Ketu will be within one degree of his natal Ketu in Scorpio. On this day Mercury will be at its most powerful as it will be standing still to turn direct. This can mean that there could be some issue around the election and knowing who the next president will be. The last time this occurred was in 2000 Bush versus Gore and we didn’t know who won the Presidency for a couple months.
Let’s continue to watch, see what happens and what plays out.
