Let’s take a look at how some of the transits have triggered events in his life.

Biden married his first wife on August 27, 1966. At this time transiting Jupiter was exactly conjunct his natal Jupiter sending its energy to the ruler of his seventh house of relationships, Venus. Transiting Saturn was in Pisces sending its energy to his seventh house of relationships. He was in his Sun Maha Dasha which is in his first house. This activated the seventh house as it is in opposition and his Sun is conjunct the ruler of his seventh house Venus. He lost his first wife on December 18, 1972 in car accident that also took the life of his one-year old daughter. His sons Beau and Hunter survived this accident. At this time transiting Mars was exactly conjunct his natal Mercury at 28 degrees of Libra. This activated his eighth house of death. Transiting Ketu, an indicator of loss, was transiting Gemini his eighth house of loss and sending its energy to his natal Mercury and Mars in his twelfth house. Transiting Saturn, an indicator of death, was transiting his seventh house of marriage. This can represent his wife’s death. Transiting Saturn was also sending its energy to his natal Venus, ruler of his seventh house and indicator of the wife. Add to all of this that Venus is a maraka planet, or killer planet, in Biden’s chart. Transiting Venus was within a degree of his natal Venus on this day.

Biden was elected to the US Senate for the state of Delaware on November 7, 1972. On this day transiting Jupiter and transiting Rahu were in Sagittarius sending their energy to his tenth house of career and natal Rahu. This ignited his career. He was also in his Gemini Chara Dasha of Leo which is his tenth house. This ignited his career even more. In his navamsha and his career divisional chart Leo is his eleventh house of great gains and the Sun ruler of Leo is in its own sign. This makes this period very good for his career gains.

Biden married his current wife Jill on June 17, 1977. At this time transiting Jupiter was in his seventh house of relationships conjunct his natal Saturn. This can create a long-term relationship. Transiting Rahu was sending its energy to his seventh house, another indicator of marriage. At this time he was in his Moon Maha Dasha and Saturn Bhukti (sub-dasha). His natal Saturn is in his seventh house of relationships which was activated by his sub-dasha. He was in his Jaimini Chara Dasha of Cancer which houses the indicator of spouses, Jupiter, and can show a period of marriage. This is also ignited as Jupiter stays exalted in Cancer in his navamsha (which shows the spouse).

On election day 2020, November 3. The transits will be as follows in his chart. Transiting Ketu will be in his first house. This is not the most beneficial transit as it puts Rahu in his seventh house of the opponent. Transiting Rahu will be sending its energy to his eleventh house of great gains which could be helpful. Transiting Jupiter will be in his second house sending its energy to his tenth house of career. This can bring opportunities to his career.

Let’s see what happens and continue to watch what plays out.
