Happy New Year! Can you believe 2021 came and went in what seemed like the blink of an eye? Well, 2022 is here. As I have looked at the year ahead there is some good potential but also some potential rough spots. We are on a wild journey of transformation. It is important to show up and take the actions in your everyday life that you feel are right for you. You are the one who controls how you view and handle situations.
This month we start with Venus retrograde. It went retrograde on December 19 and will station to turn direct on January 29. The things that Venus represents may be thrown on their head as it stationed on conjunct Pluto in December. This means money, love, diamonds, the sweet things could all see a change. Mercury will be stationing on January 14 to turn retrograde. It will turn direct on February 4, 2022. Remember with Mercury retrogrades we need to be cautious with our communication and leave extra time in our travel plans. There can be delays and setbacks. Retrogrades pull our attention to the planet and meanings associated with the planet. Mars will be moving into Sagittarius on January 16. Mars will be in the lunar mansion of Mula through the end of January. This will be a time when it is important not to repress your anger. To do that get out and exercise or find another way to let it out so you don’t explode verbally or while driving or in some other form. This transit of Mars could increase your intuition. It can be a good time to jump on opportunities and expand your knowledge.
Aries – You can find you are more open to a new way of thinking which opens your heart and soul. Go with the flow and see where these new thoughts and ideas take you. It can be just what you need right now. You will find yourself in meetings that are necessary. Use them to help you open up communication. Know that towards the end of the month you will need to watch what you say at work and ensure understanding from all those involved in projects to make sure you are on the same page.
Taurus – Traveling or learning new information can help to open your eyes and show you a different approach. If you are traveling between the 16 and 31st use patience, leave extra time and know there could be delays in your plans. Maintaining an open mind is crucial to your success this month. Be open and receptive this month as money could come from others unexpectedly. If you feel like the spark is missing in your relationship don’t make any rash decisions until later in the spring and/or find a way to get out and reignite that spark.
Gemini – This month you can receive messages and new insights from others if you just open yourself up to new ideas and conversations with those who may not think the exact same way as you. You could receive information that will help to reveal insights into a past problem that still needs to be resolved. Your powers of attraction are strong this month. This can be a great time to bring the spark back to your relationship or if you are single, it is a time when your powers to attract others are even stronger. You can receive many invitations, accept them as you feel safe to do.
Cancer – This can be a great month to start planning that vacation you have been dreaming about. It will help to get you out of your rut. It can be good to find the lighter more humorous side of life. Laughter brings a light in that helps to heal your soul. You can find yourself communicating more than normal this month. From the 16th to the 31st be sure every one of your communications is extra clear. At work you will find yourself getting the support you have needed.
Leo – You will find yourself needing to communicate with your co-workers. Ensure that everyone is on the same page especially from the 16th to the 31st of the month. Be sure you are getting exercise and plenty of fresh air to help maintain your balance and not let your nerves get over stressed. It can be good to let your creative side out in order to give you a break from the stress around you. Listen to music, dance, paint, draw, write – anything that will give you a stress release. If you have been looking for a relationship keep an open heart. You could be pleasantly surprised this month.
Virgo – Capture the ideas that come to your mind as they flit through. If you don’t write them down you will find you can’t remember them when the time comes. Your mind is full of ideas that need to be expressed. You may find that there is a specific talent that is becoming more apparent by the day. You may feel inspired to give your home an update whether through moving furniture around, painting, remodeling or renovating. Spending time at home will bring you comfort and peace.
Libra – You may feel like you want to spend more time with family and reconnect with those you haven’t seen in a while. You will find yourself having and enjoying get togethers at your home. You may find this month that you are spending more time learning and reading. Adding a new fun pop of color or decoration to your home can bring a much-needed cheerfulness. Enjoying the arts, movies or concerts can be a great escape from your busy day to day routine. Do so as you feel comfortable. A weekend getaway could help you reset and relax.
Scorpio – If you have been keeping a running to-do list in your head now is the time to get it out on paper so you don’t let anything slip through the cracks. It will help you to better see what you need to get done and what your priorities need to be. You could find you receive good news this month. You may feel you are luckier and that your financials are on the up and up. It can be a great time to add a new piece of art to your home or a plant to help bring a new look to your space.
Sagittarius – This is a really good month for you to sit down with your finances and budget and reassess. Make any necessary changes to set you on the right track for the year ahead. It can be a great time to make sure you and your partner are on the same page with your expectations both in love and on finances. It can be a good month to spend money on learning that will help you in the future. It can be a good month to update your wardrobe or add some new flair but try to find some new additions on sale. Be mindful not to spend over your set budget.
Capricorn – You will find your ability to communicate is stronger at the start of the month. Starting on the 16th just be very clear in your communication and check that you were understood. You could feel more upbeat. You could receive new information that leads you on a path of learning and growing in a whole new way. Take a class or learn a new skill. You could find yourself thinking about relationships past. You have the ability to manifest good things this month. You will likely have more restful sleep that leaves your mind and body feeling refreshed.
Aquarius – This is a really good month to help heal the wounds of your past. You will find that understanding, compassion and forgiveness are the keys to healing. You could think of friends from your past who end up reaching out to you. You could have financial gains from your recent success at work. Spend time with friends as this brings with it a deep connection. You may find yourself being invited to many social gatherings and parties where you could form new friendships. Take advantage of them as you feel comfortable doing.
Pisces – You may find yourself on the phone or interacting with your friends more than usual. Friends can bring you interesting news but may talk your ear off in the process. Just enjoy and listen. Be open to new ideas. Work ideas can come from a fresh perspective. Be open to any creative ideas that come your way. You may find that women are a driving force at work this month. Pay attention to messages you receive this month that bring a new hope for the future.
