Traveling for my Mind & Soul

I LOVE Traveling! I love seeing new places and learning about different cultures. To me, the best way to learn is not through textbooks but through the experiences you have, the places you visit and the people you meet along the way.

Through my travels, it has honestly kept me grounded and so thankful for all we have in the US because we are very lucky.
When traveling, you realize we are all just people. We all look alike. We all have friends, family, and people we dislike. We all go through the ups and downs of life, the love, and heartbreak, good and bad times. We all have to eat and drink water. Just because we have different cultures does not make anyone any more good or bad then the other. They just are!

I’m just coming off spending three weeks traveling overseas. We started in what was Communist Eastern Europe and worked our way up to the Baltic Sea and the Scandinavian countries. Along the journey I made new friends and had the opportunity to listen to, talk to and learn from the different tour guides. These countries want to share their stories. They want to share the struggles they have been through and overcome. They want to show the world they are moving into the future. They respect the past and their countries history, but they want to share so other countries don’t go through what they went through.

I use traveling not only for my mind but my soul. It gives me time to unplug completely, to recharge my batteries. (Now this trip, while I got some time to recharge we also took advantage of all there was to see and spending time with the new friends we made.)
My soul when I travel has the ability to feel the energy of the different cities I am visiting whether it feels like home or feels like something is off. I’ve picked up on past negative energies that have stuck around places as well as having stumbled upon some of my past lives. Whether you believe in past lives or not, I do, and I have found them! It always amazes me how my soul knows. (I will have some fun stories around this to come in a future post!)

I think everyone should be required to travel not just the United States but the world. It’s massive and incredible and opens your eyes to things that never even get mentioned in history books. So for the next few posts, I want to turn my blog into a slight travel blog and share my trip with you as well as sharing my insights and pictures (you can also follow me on Instagram).

But in the meantime, I want you to think about the following:

  • How would traveling and getting a different perspective benefit you?
  • Where would you go when you traveled outside the United States? Add them to your travel list.
  • Where do you want to go in the United States? (Make these happen!)

My challenge to you is to make them happen! If you can only take a week internationally, take it. In the US you can easily take a weekend or long weekend.

There is always something to see and learn! (You never finish learning!) Take advantage of the life you’ve been given and live it to the fullest with no regrets!
